Number one, we have Focus Entertainment’s latest game, Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, which is also from the same folks who previously published plague tales, in addition to the developers of World War Z and the new Evil Dead Etc. Space Marine. The Warhammer 4000: Space Marine II game is both an action-packed FPS experience reminiscent of Gears of War and a classic adventure in Pace. It’s coming after 12 years of anticipation since its original game for PCs, and the next generation of consoles will only be out in about a few months.
2. Forza Motorsport
Forza Motorsport is about a month away, to release and the amount of content the game has to offer is getting bigger by the day. It’s going to be coming out on PC and Xbox consoles as you promised. As you’ll know, this survival horror open world game has been one of the longest delayed ever, but due to the amount of support developers received, it’s finally in good shape.
4. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
number four It’s technically speaking the most anticipated and longest-awaited in the list as well when it comes to Microsoft exclusive games like Sinewa Saga, which was held late too, which is Ninja Theory’s action adventure supposedly releasing in the first few months of 2024. The Senu’a Saga: hellblade II is going to be twice as large entirely compared to the first game, not just in terms of time but also in terms of quality graphics, story, and details. If you do like Norse mythology, and I don’t know Aries or movies, you should definitely keep a close eye out on this one.
5. Avowed
after more than two years of nothing but a cinematic trailer only that this August we finally received some gameplay on avowed which is Obsidian attendance take on Skyrim which is what we believed it to be when it was revealed and then later turned out to be a much heavier Choice ribbon game in nature sort of Skyrim meets our world anyway this game is coming to PCS and Xbox consoles early to mid next year 2024.
6. Project Mara
I’ve only mentioned Project Mara in an Unreal Engine 5 list, so there’s a good chance you missed it, in which case there’s a photo realistic Unreal Engine 5 made in supposedly first-person or even body cam style inspired story-heavy adventure in the making by Ninja Theory, the same folks behind the cinema soccer we just mentioned, going by the name Project Mara, and that is all there is to it moving.
7. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Microsoft, to make even more hype, why not release another new trailer for the all-time famous Flight Sim sequel, Flight Simulator 2024, which is probably the biggest game in scale on the list as it’s building an even higher attitude? Maneuvers like aerial firefighting, mountaintop rescues, skydiving operations, and some other worldly Graphics: I mean, Flight Sim 23 was everything a god-tiering graphics game should be; this one is even more realistic. The game will release at some point in 2024.
8. Towerbrone
Coming from the same Indie developers of Banner Soccer Games and Number Eight, we have a brand new project going by the name Towerborn, which is a co-op action adventure with the aim to deliver both Monster Hunter World and Phil with the action of Castle Crashers. something like that. Nothing really is talked about in the trailer here, which pretty much showcases everything it’s doing. Tower tower bone is said to be coming out in 2024, where it’ll be released on PCs and Xbox One only.
9. Clockwork Revolution
Coming from the famous developers of Wasteland Games at number nine, we have Clockwork Revolution. This is a first-person RPG as it’s tagged set in a steampunk world that carries a pretty dark secret in its heart. Technically speaking, that’s the only thing we have for story. The clockwork revolution game itself is basically a mix of Dishonored and Bioshock. Even in the prey game, we know the Clockwork Revolution is coming to pieces on Xbox 360 only early to midway through 2024.
10. Fable
Amongst the biggest liked and disliked updates of the gaming showcase a month ago, we finally got a new trailer for the long-awaited Fable game, which was only teased with like a 20-second cinematic about three years ago and it was really nonsense, but yeah, here’s another cinematic, a different one. You probably know this already, but this game is hated tremendously because of the protagonists. Apparently, but nonetheless, it’s still coming to PCs in Xbox Series X only mid- to late-next year, 2024.
11. Gears 6
It has been almost four years since Gears 5 was released, and the last time we got news regarding a follow-up was that the new game is just called Gears 6 in like a 10-second teaser with the title. Anyway, if you’re wondering and have been waiting on an update, you should know the Gears 6 is now coming out next year 2024, probably during the holidays, and it will be an open-world game in nature.
12. Everwild
Coming up behind that from roughly three to four years ago, we have the one and only ever a while, which is one of the less mentioned projects in the making by developers Rare. That’s the same focus behind Sea of Thieves as regarding Everwild. The good news is that the game is being made; it’s not dead; it has a release window of 2024; it’s delayed; and it’s acting as a Microsoft exclusive. Everwild above trailer is just a reminder that the game is at its core a semi-open world adventure.
13. Contraband
Moving on, we have Contraband, which is a square-based co-op game from Smugglers Paradise sitting in this fictional world of the 70s. I don’t really know what that means, but the game is from just-cause developers Avalanche Studios, and although we don’t know much about it, we know it’s a multiplayer game at a score, and it’s a Microsoft exclusive as well. Watch the above trailer.
14. Dungeons of Hinterberg
Dungeons of Hinterberg was announced during the PC gaming show a couple months ago, and it’s the first work of its developers. I’ve mentioned it once in a list before, so if you missed it, you definitely should check it out. It’s a modern-day fantasy adventure with the aim to put players in the shoes of an adventurous hitchhiker or something. It’s a very artistically themed game of nature inspired by the Austrian Alps. The third-person combat is something lot of wanted to discover.
15. The Outer Worlds 2
At number 15, it’s been a long time since the reveal of it, and it might not even show up any sort of in-game footage until later in the year, but nonetheless, we have to give it to Outer Worlds too, which is another Microsoft exclusive open world RPG and the only one in the making with hints of cynical comedy. The sequel here will start with a totally new story and character, as stated by the developers. You will not need or require any kind of background on the first game; the game itself might come out in 2025.
16. South of Midnight
First time I believe we’re talking about this one, I’ve actually been waiting to put this on the correct list. It’s a third-person action adventure coming from the Happy Few action adventure series. This is a stop-motion style game in nature, going by the name South of Midnight. This thing was announced a month ago. It’s coming to pieces on Xbox consoles in mid- to late 2024.
17. The Crew Motorfest
Now the crew forza Motorfest, one of the biggest projects in the making, an open-world racing and driving beast of a game, is finally coming out of the platforms. On September 11 this year, horses came through an accompanying new trailer, but the game does support trust platform play with basically multiplayer; it’s all set in Hawaii as opposed to New York; the game is huge in scale compared to its predecessors; it has over 600 different types of vehicles, ranging from cars to planes to boats.
18. Replaced
And last but not least, the one game I wish I had hands on already before the rest is the one and only cyberpunk-style pixel art action platformer Microsoft exclusive game replaced. Replaced has been in the making for over two years already, unfortunately we haven’t been lucky enough to have hands on it yet as developers recently announced that December 2023 is going to be delayed to at some point in 2024 release. Hands down, I’m giving this game the best pixel design platformer of all time. Watch the above trailer.
