If you’re a gamer eagerly waiting for the next wave of exciting games to play, you’re in luck! In this article, we’re going to be sharing 15 awesome upcoming games that you can play this Spring 2023. 1. MLB The Show 23
If you’re a baseball fan, you won’t be surprised to hear that MLB The Show 23 is launching this month. The 18th entry in the series, you get to play as your favorite team players and rivals as you progress through the season. You can play single-player, four-player local, or up to eight players online. There’s also a brand new storylines mode being released with MLB The Show 23, with season 2 launching next year. MLB The Show 23 launches on March 28th and is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and switch.
2. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened

3. Resident Evil 4
First up is the long-awaited remake of Resident Evil 4. Originally released in 2005, this classic game has been remade to include enhanced visuals, improved gameplay, and even new side quests. You play as Leon S Kennedy, on a mission to rescue the president’s daughter, facing threats and hordes of enemies along the way. The improved combat menus and crafting give the game a fresh take with enough changes to make it feel new. Resident Evil 4 launches on March 24th on PS5, Xbox series S and x, as well as PC.
4. The Last of US Part 1
Next up is The Last of Us Part 1, a classic game that has been re-released for PC. This remake brings enhanced gameplay, combat, and visuals, making it feel like a new game. 5. Road 96: Mile 0
For those looking for something different, Road 96: Mile 0 is a narrative adventure game where you play as two characters, Zoe and Kaito, as you journey through levels choosing different dialogues. This game is a prequel to the first game, Road 96, and is a fun and easy game that breaks away from the normal releases that we see. If you like games that are narrative-driven, like Life is Strange, this might be a fun one to pick up. Road 96: Mile 0 launches on April 4th and is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, switch, and PC.
6. Creed: Rise to Glory
Lastly, for those with a PSVR 2, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’re getting an updated version of Creed: Rise to Glory on here as well. This is called the Championship Edition, and you play through various training minigames, a career mode, as well as an online versus mode. If you’re looking for a boxing game that gets you up and sweating, this is going to be a lot of fun and a very active game to play. Creed: Rise to Glory launches on April 4th on PSVR 2.
Redfall is an upcoming Xbox Series X exclusive that could potentially be one of the biggest games of the year. This brand new open-world co-op game pits players against vampires and human enemies in the darkness of a town called Redfall. Players can choose between four main playable characters, each with their own abilities, skill sets, and loadouts. “Redfall” is an FPS game made by the same team who brought us “Prey” and “Dishonored”, so fans of those games are sure to enjoy this new addition. It launches on May 2nd and will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
8. Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to be one of, if not the biggest game for Nintendo in 2023. Players take on the role of Link in this open-world game as they travel across Hyrule. Although not much has been shared about the story or plot of the game, it appears much darker than its predecessor, Breath of the Wild.
9. Horizon Forbidden West
If you’re a fan of the Horizon Forbidden West game, then you’re in for a treat with the upcoming “Burning Shores” DLC. This expansion takes players to a volcanic area formed from the ruins of La, and picks up directly where the previous game left off. “Burning Shores” promises to offer stunning visuals and a great addition to the already captivating story. This DLC will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 and launches on April 19th.
10. Dead Island 2
Dead Island 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, and for good reason. This action-packed role-playing survival game blends the perfect balance of horror, dark humor, and over-the-top slaying. Players team up with two others in a three-player co-op mode to fight their way across La, slicing, smashing, and burning everything in their path. 12. Atlas fallen – Rise from Dust
Atlas Fallen is an open world RPG set in a dystopian world where players must combat and navigate their way across the desert and fast lands of sand. The game boasts a momentum system that allows players to power up their weapons, upgrade their gear, and team up with their friends via online co-op mode.
13. Suicide Squad: kill The Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a game where players take on the roles of various members of the Suicide Squad, including Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, as they try to reclaim and rescue the world from Brainiac’s control.
