In this article, I shared the 14 best upcoming Nintendo Switch games that are coming in 2023 and 2024, from Batman to Hogwarts Legacy, Red Dead Redemption, and 10 more.
1. Hogwarts Legacy
Number one, we have Hogwarts Legacy, which to this day is still the most pre-registered and best-selling game of the past few months. If you’ve been keeping an eye out for, you know, who missed its initial planned release window on the Nintendo Switch, in any case, finally the game is actually being delivered through the cloud service on November 14 this year, and to accompany the news, we actually got a trailer too.
2. Red Dead Redemption
If you’re a Red Dead Redemption fan or have just been waiting for a chance to play the game on the go on the hybrid console for God knows a decade in health already, you can actually totally do that now as of this morning the switchboard is available on an Nintendo shop for the price of 50 bucks and it’s working perfectly on the go.
3. Batman: Arkham Trilogy
Nintendo came out and announced that a Batman package going by the Arkham Trilogies would be coming over to the hybrid console by India, that would be Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, with any DLC that was released for the games period previously. The news was only a post, and we just got some new updates that the game is now releasing on October 13, 2023.
4. Dying Light 2 Stay Human
Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s second DLC, in addition to the Switch version of the game, is now delayed to 2024 instead of later in 2023. Well, Takedown just revealed that update with a pretty short teaser, saying they’re taking the time to deliver one of the best expansions ever delivered in a decent switch port. In addition, for the DLC, almost nothing is known so far, but for the switch version, we know that it’s going to be released in the first few months of 2024.
5. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown
open-world driving slash racing lifestyle kind of project Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is now coming to PCS in the next generation of consoles in addition to the hybrid console in the first few months of 2024. If you’re just unfamiliar with the game and wondering why it’s so famous already, the reason is that Solo Solar Crown is actually being built on a one-on-one scale in Hong Kong with the aim of making the most of technology in the latest consoles and maximising the overall quality of a racing game.
6. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
We just came up with Dragon Quest’s gameplay; now we’re not talking about Infinity Shresh. The Adventures of Die or anything talking a few days ago, we had another Dragon Quest game in the making as of a few months ago called Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. It’s a turn-based Japanese RPG adventure from Square Enix itself as a rather stand-alone project separated from the service itself. The Dragoon Quest monsters: the Dark Prince will release for Switch and other platforms on December 1st, 2023.
7. Biomutant
at number seven, and this has been rumoured for like a whole year, but Unity just confirmed that the open world action RPG I can slash your game Biomutans now when it’s with inhibit console November 30 this year, this is actually delayed for more than a year, and it’ll now take you down about 50 bucks. I’m not really sure, but it’ll be as smooth as the PC version as they have stated, and in case that’s how it looks, I mentioned games releasing November 30 2023.
8. Thief Simulator 2
Thief Simulator 2 is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch, the game will build upon the original formula, coming around with graphical and technical improvements in addition to new ideas and three diverse locations, along with an entire new setting. The Thief Simulator 2 will be released with Roommate, which is coming out in the next few months.
9. Paw Patrol World
Outright Games just announced another Paw Patrol entry by the name of Paw Patrol Worlds. This is a free-roaming 3D adventure coming from the same Bandai Namco offering, with on-foot and driving options to roam around the game’s world. There will be 8 different characters to play with way more collectibles than unblockables to earn through missions, and each character has their own unique abilities.
10. First Dwarf
Announced a year ago to this very day, number 10, we have First Dwarf. This is an action RPG Tower Defence Adventure that’s coming from the same developers of Driftlands. Their new game over here is rather cartoony and feels immersive. Base building, survival, and exploration—not to mention sitting in an open world of islands floating in the sky—are just some of the things the trailer here kind of showcases what the game has to offer. The game is set to be coming out on PC Switch and other consoles by the end of the year 2023.
11. Raft
Now raft, on the other hand, is coming to the Nintendo Switch, bringing the same quality as the developers promise with our whole gameplay and optimising graphics for smoother gameplay. If you’re new here, raft is a survival open world multiplayer and one of the most well-received co-op PC games of 2022. Also this year, the good news for the Nintendo Switch was that we had a new trailer too.
12. Supraland Six inches under
available on Steam since January last year with nothing but positive reviews; in fact, overwhelmingly positive review scores number 12. We have Superland 6 inches under; this is a metroidvania but in first-person causal adventure that tells the concepts of capitalism and socialism, which is a dash of comedy. Now you see, you can trade a game through a demo on Simon, and it’s in the Wii shop. The full game is said to be coming over in about 20 days for the price of 20 bucks.
13. Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean
announced during the PlayStation Showcase in May this year. A Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean is now coming to the Herbert Consul in PCS early next year. It’s actually the third entry of a series of action RPG adventures that started life years ago on Steam. The 2D, 3D pirate-themed open-world adventure is playable solo and co-op, and this is how they’ll eventually look.
14. The Sisters 2: Road to Fame
And last but not least, we have The Sisters 2: Road to Fame. This is an adventure single-player and comic-style open-world game that’s coming from the famous Publishers McCroids. The Sisters 2: Road to Fame has been in the making for over a year now, technically it’s been two years since the first game, continuing the story of his predecessor with a bigger world and more characters. The sisters 2 road to fame is set to become available on PCs, Switch, and other consoles as well on October 5, 2023.
