The AULA SC800 is a dual-mode wireless gaming mouse that’s lightweight and designed for optimal comfort. It features the flagship PAW3395 sensor, high-speed clicks with 50 million-click Omron switches, and customizable DPI with up to six levels of adjustment all at a price of just $49.
I’ve been using it for two weeks now, and here’s how it’s improved both my productivity and gaming experience.
Unboxing
So, here’s what you’ll get inside the AULA SC800 mouse box:

When I opened the box, I found that the packaging was minimal and clean. Inside, I got the AULA SC800 Mouse, and in a smaller box, there was a detachable top cover for customization or easy maintenance, and a pre-cut textured grip sticker set for better comfort and control. It also included a USB-C cable for charging and wired use, a wireless receiver, and a QR manual card featuring the AULA character. On the back of this card, there’s a QR code to download the user manual, along with another QR linking to AULA’s social handles.
Everything in the box is neatly packed with safety in mind and sticks to a minimal design. One thing to note, there’s no physical user manual included just the card with a link to download it.
Design and Build

The AULA SC800 has a clean and minimal design that looks super sleek in white, and it’s also available in black. It feels really light in hand, which makes it great for long hours of use, whether you’re gaming or working. The surface has a smooth matte finish that doesn’t pick up fingerprints easily, and the build quality feels premium. At the bottom, it features the AULA logo, which resembles a spider, and on the right side, there are shortcut buttons for forward and backward actions. On the front, it has a USB-C port for charging and wired connection.

At the back, there’s an on/off toggle switch, and in the middle, you’ll find the sensor. The build is plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap, it’s actually quite premium for something under $50. The clicks are crisp, and the scroll wheel has a nice grip to it. The mouse shape fits naturally in the hand, and even after using it for several days, I haven’t faced any discomfort. Overall, it looks and feels like a well-built mouse that punches above its price point.

The wireless receiver dongle comes in an angular design that perfectly matches the mouse’s modern aesthetic. It features a small glowing AULA logo on the front, which adds a nice touch of gamer vibe without being too flashy. This LED logo also is a connection status indicator. The build feels premium, with a braided USB-C cable that’s both durable and neat. However, the white matte finish does catch dust and smudges quite easily, so you might need to wipe it down often to keep it looking fresh.
Connectivity
As far as connectivity goes, the AULA SC800 supports only two modes: wireless and wired. I’ve tested both over several days, and they work perfectly. I initially used it in wired mode, and the experience was super smooth with no lag at all. Switching to wireless was just as easy simply plug the receiver dongle into your PC, turn on the mouse, and it connects instantly. The 2.4GHz wireless mode performs amazingly well with fast response and no noticeable delay.
PAW3395 Sensor and Omron 50M Switches
The AULA SC800 is packed with the flagship PAW3395 sensor, and honestly, it feels insanely accurate. Whether I’m playing fast-paced FPS or just doing regular work, it tracks every tiny movement smoothly without skipping a beat. With up to 650 IPS speed and 50G acceleration, it’s super responsive and quick perfect for flick shots and sharp turns in games like Valorant or Apex.
For the clicks, it uses Omron 50 million switches, and you can really feel the difference. Every click is crisp, snappy, and gives a nice tactile feedback. I’ve been clicking like crazy during intense gaming sessions, and it still feels solid with no mushiness at all. Definitely built to last.
Customizable DPI and Adjustment

And when it comes to DPI, it’s got six adjustable levels ranging from 400 to a massive 26,000. You can easily switch DPI by pressing the forward button and the scroll wheel together, and the receiver LED changes color to show which level you’re on. Super handy if you like to switch sensitivity on the fly, whether you’re aiming for pixel-perfect shots or just zipping around the screen.
With the AULA driver, which you can download from the Mechlands AULA SC800 product page, you get access to full customization. It lets you reassign the forward and upward buttons, switch left and right click functions, adjust the polling rate from 125Hz all the way up to 8000Hz, and create your own custom profiles. You can even check the battery level of the mouse at a glance. And if you mess something up, there’s a one-click reset option to bring everything back to default. The software support is pretty solid you can tweak everything the way you like for better performance, whether you’re gaming or working.
Battery Performance
The AULA SC800 has a 250mAh rechargeable battery. In my testing, it provided up to 80 hours of usage with light work. I haven’t tested it for gaming yet, but you can expect long-lasting battery performance without any interruptions. This is good performance and aslo I’ll share the full gaming battery performance test in my next update.
Conclusion
For $49 AULA SC800 offers impressive value with flagship-grade features packed into a lightweight and comfortable design. It comes equipped with the PAW3395 sensor, Omron 50M-click switches, and adjustable DPI up to 26,000, delivering exceptional accuracy and responsiveness for both gaming and productivity. The dual-mode connectivity (wired and 2.4GHz wireless), along with a solid battery life of up to 80 hours, adds to its appeal. While the lack of Bluetooth connectivity might be a downside for those who switch between multiple devices, it’s a small trade-off considering the performance and features you’re getting. If you’re in the market for a reliable, high-performance wireless gaming mouse that doesn’t break the bank AULA SC800 is a fantastic choice.
