The OnePlus 10 Pro As a personal handset used by many, it has garnered attention for its stunning matte finish, powerful performance, and outstanding camera capabilities. In this review, we know about OnePlus 10 Pro, design, software, display, performance, battery life, cameras, and overall verdict.
Design

The OnePlus 10 Pro boasts a stylish and smart design with its matte finish that repels fingerprints and grease with ease. Its Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and Gorilla Glass Victus on the front ensure durability and scratch resistance, While the camera bump may be a point of contention for some users, it does not affect the phone’s usability, and the overall design is aesthetically pleasing.

OxygenOS and Features

Running on Android 12 with OxygenOS 12, the OnePlus 10 Pro offers a smooth software experience with regular updates and customizable features. The upgraded shelf and always-on display options contribute to the user-friendly experience. However, some Android 12 features, such as Bass and UI colors, have been omitted. The in-display fingerprint sensor works efficiently but requires dry hands for optimal performance.
The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with 128 gigs of storage, and so far, I’m not even close to filling it up, despite capturing loads of photos and videos. That’s just as well, because it supports subtle micro SD memory card expansion, as is customary with premium phones.
Display

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s 6.7-inch AMOLED display is undeniably stunning, but that is also true for most phones in this price range. It ticks all the expected boxes with Quad HD Plus resolution, wide viewing angles, HDR support for natural-looking contrast, and a refresh rate that dynamically shifts from one hertz to 120 hertz.
OnePlus has made efforts to enhance the screen technology with a couple of fresh features, including the AI adaptive brightness. This feature evolves over time to learn your preferred brightness level, whether you are outdoors or in varying ambient light conditions, based on how much you manually adjust the brightness slider. Personally, I found the auto-brightness feature to be sufficient and rarely needed manual tweaking.
Another update is the dual-color calibration, which enriches visuals at very low brightness levels, making colors more vibrant compared to most competitors. The display shines even when the brightness is nearly at its lowest level. This makes the OnePlus 10 Pro an excellent choice for individuals who enjoy watching content on their smartphones.

Audio Quality
The stereo speaker setup is not one of the absolute best around, but it’s perfectly fine for gaming or enjoying some YouTube, even when there’s lots of noise floating about. And, of course, as usual again with premium phones, there’s no headphone jack here on the OnePlus 10 Pro. But the Bluetooth 5.2 smarts are absolutely dependable at all times. I’ve had zero issues with them in the past few weeks, the audio hasn’t started to cut out or judder or anything like that. No worries.
Performance and Gaming

The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen, similar to most other flagship phones. I have found that the everyday experience with this phone has been incredibly smooth, as you would expect from a high-end device. If you are a gamer, you’ll be delighted to know that the OnePlus 10 Pro performs exceptionally well in gaming. It can effortlessly handle any Android title, even demanding games like Genshin Impact with maxed-out detail settings. Thanks to the upgraded cooling system in the OnePlus 10 Pro, which features a new five-layer system with a vapor chamber, copper foil, and graphene layers, the phone stays cool during extended gaming sessions.
The cooling system works like a charm and allows you to play for hours without any performance hiccups. The phone might get slightly warm around the back, but it’s far from uncomfortable and doesn’t affect the phone’s performance. The screen responsiveness is top-notch, making it perfect for online multiplayer gaming, with no issues whatsoever. The large display offers ample space for an immersive gaming experience, and the tiny selfie camera doesn’t intrude on the gaming action.
The gaming toolbox setup in the OnePlus 10 Pro is similar to Color OS, and it provides a range of useful tools for gamers. It’s compact, fully customizable, and easy to navigate, making it a joy to use during gaming sessions. Overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro delivers an exceptional gaming experience, making it an ideal choice for mobile gamers who demand high performance and smooth gameplay.
Battery Life
One issue that I’ve encountered with many previous OnePlus flagships, and something that has made me a little hesitant to recommend them over some rivals, is the less than stellar battery life. However, the OnePlus 10 Pro has completely addressed this concern. With a robust 5000 milliamp battery, it’s a significant improvement from its predecessor. It may well be the largest battery ever installed in a OnePlus flagship, It does the job exceptionally well. On an average day, OnePlus 10 Pro still have around 20 to 25 percent of battery life remaining by the end of the day. There was only one instance in the past month when I came close to running out of battery, but that was after over seven hours of screen-on time, which included quite a bit of camera usage.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with Oppo’s Dual Cell SuperVOOC battery charging technology, supporting 80-watt fast charging. With the cable, the phone can be fully charged in about half an hour or so, which is commendable. While it may not be the absolute best in terms of charging speed – for example, Xiaomi’s latest smartphone boasts 150-watt wired charging – it still performs impressively. If you find yourself low on battery, plugging it in for just five or ten minutes will provide a substantial boost, enough to keep you going. Furthermore, the 10 Pro phone also supports 50-watt wireless charging known as AirVOOC. This means you are fully covered when it comes to charging options, whether you prefer wired or wireless charging.
OnePlus 10 Pro Cameras

The OnePlus 10 Pro features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, producing good-looking pictures with natural tones and excellent HDR performance. The 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter captures impressive landscapes, but indoor shots might lack color accuracy. The 8-megapixel telephoto lens supports 3.3 times optical zoom and works decently for capturing subjects from a distance. The phone’s camera also includes 10-bit HEIF shooting and an improved Hasselblad Pro Mode for advanced users.
Final Thought
In conclusion, the OnePlus 10 Pro is undeniably a standout flagship smartphone that delivers on multiple fronts. From its sleek design and impressive AMOLED display to its powerful performance and reliable battery life, the phone offers a premium user experience. The Hasselblad-enhanced camera system captures stunning photos, and the gaming capabilities are top-notch with the upgraded cooling system.
While the OnePlus 10 Pro may come with a higher price tag, it certainly justifies its value with the range of features it offers. Though some minor downsides, such as the omission of certain Android 12 features and average low-light camera performance, exist, they are easily overshadowed by its overall excellence.
For those seeking a top-tier smartphone with seamless performance and excellent photography capabilities, the OnePlus 10 Pro is undoubtedly a compelling choice. With its combination of aesthetics, functionality, and user-friendly features, this device stands out as an appealing option in the competitive smartphone market.
